After 25 years of searching, I finally found a copy of this album for sale in England. I thought it would be a great replacement for the mp3 version I found on Usenet in 2004, of someone else's album. As it turns out, the record wasn't in as good a shape as it was advertised. It was warped. It was all crackly and there were two skips on Side 1. Most of Side 2 was unusable - it was too damaged to respond to restoration techniques. So I have assembled a hybrid of the two. I used the LP where I could, and was able to make edit patches to correct the skips on both my album and the other person's mp3 version.





If you are a purist, and want only unadulterated .wav files, I'm sorry, this album is not for you. But if you want to hear what it sounds like without any scratches, and are not picky that some of it is sourced from high bitrate VBR mp3, then oh, happy day for you! It sounds perfectly fine as-is, but since part of this IS from mp3, I would advise against converting it to mp3 *again* because the sound will definitely be degraded. Just make yourself a CD (disc-at-once, no gaps between tracks), and I'm sure you will be pleased with the results. 





The original Usenet post contained four bonus tracks from the cassette version of the album, plus both sides of the 12" single of "My White Bicycle." These are included.





I did see one copy of the CD of this album for sale, but it was $350 USD! As Neil might say, that's too commercial and heavy for my situation; we can't be put down by profit-mongering fascists, so we take what we can get.
