Sinopse:
Thomas Barnes (Dennis Quaid) e Kent Taylor (Matthew Fox) são dois agentes do Serviço Secreto designados para proteger o presidente Ashton (William Hurt) em uma conferência primordial sobre a guerra mundial contra o terrorismo. O presidente é baleado logo após sua chegada. Na multidão está Howard Lewis (Forest Whitaker), turista americano que está filmando o evento para mostrar para seus filhos quando voltar para casa, e Rex (Sigourney Weaver), produtora de notícias da TV americana que está transmitindo a conferência. A partir daí, é mostrada a perspectiva de cada pessoa sobre os mesmos 15 minutos antes e depois do tiro.
