This morning's family Prom celebrates the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin with a musical exploration of the natural world, the clunkily titled EVOLUTION! a Darwin-Inspired Extravaganza for Kids. CBBC presenters Barney Harwood and Gemma Hunt are joined by nobody's-old-fossil David Attenborough as Charles Hazlewood conducts the BBC Concert Orchestra in music that moves from birds (Delius), storms (Britten) and the common man (Copland) to a galaxy far away (John Williams). There's even a specially commissioned new piece from drum 'n' bass DJ and erstwhile BBC2 Maestro, contestant Goldie - Sine tempore (Without Time).

Radio Times reviewer - David Gillard

From the Royal Albert Hall, London. Presented by Sarah Walker.
