Die Gebrüder Todd (Erik Stolhanske) und Jan Wolfhouse (Paul Soter) reisen von Amerika nach Deutschland, um ihrem verstorbenen Großvater den letzten Wunsch zu erfüllen und seine Asche dort zu verstreuen, wo er sich am wohlsten fühlte: auf dem Oktoberfest. Dort machen Todd und Jan die Entdeckung, dass es eine Art Kampftrinker-Underground und dessen eigene Olympiade, das Bierfest, gibt. Von den einheimischen Lokalmatadoren in großem Stile gedemütigt, kehren die Brüder nach Amerika zurück, um ihr eigenes Team für eine Revanche im nächsten Jahr zu trainieren.

Als "Fight Club" für Wettsäufer apostrophieren die fünf Masterminds der kanadischen Comedy-Truppe Broken Lizard ("Super Troopers") ihr knietief durch Klischees watendes Klamaukfeuerwerk.
