Very, very rare episode of 1980s comedy show Arthur And Phil Go Off starring Arthur Smith and Phil Nice. Together they formed Fiasco Job Job and produced these mock documentaries for a very brief period before they went their separate performing ways.

In this episode they visit Marbella.

My research shows that the three-part series was broadcast on Channel 4 from December 1985. I believe that there was a one-off episode before this series set in Bologne. And I remember them hosting a Channel 4 theme night Arthur And Phil Go Off Around Channel 4 on one of the station's anniversaries that featured clips of Channel 4 programmes.

I've had the three-part series sitting around on VHS since 1985 and having never seen these episodes available commercially or on line in any format I thought I would share them here.

The .mov file was captured using the Pinnacle Video Capture USB adapter from the composite output of my aging VHS player. I edited the adverts out and saved the file without re-encoding or transcoding to ensure you get the maximum possible quality given the source and my equipment.

All three episodes are now available here on line.

Enjoy.
