In 1992 Paul McCartney and his band began recording his new album "Off the Ground," and were preparing to take it on the road for the New World Tour. Director Aubrey Powell and his cameras were with them every step of the way in this behind-the-scenes documentary broadcast on Channel 4. The film shows Paul and the band recording at Abbey Road as well as performing live as they finalize rehearsals for their forthcoming the tour. 


With the new album complete former musician turned film director, Kevin Godley helps the band with the video for "C'mon People". While a trip to the USA is required by Paul to complete the special effects for the title track's promotional film at George Lucas' Industrial Light and Magic.


Songs performed include "Hope of Deliverance," "C'mon People," "Off the Ground," "Drive My Car," "Get Out Of My Way," "Looking For Changes."
