The King's Singers return to the Proms, marking their 40th anniversary with a wide-ranging Anglo-French selection.





Picking up on the flavour of the earlier Proms Folk Day, the concert opens with six of Poulenc's set of eight French folk songs and ends with more recent arrangements - of the type The King's Singers have practically made their own - of traditional English songs. In between comes English music from the recent past and French music from further back in time.
