TRAVEL: Charley Boorman: Ireland to Sydney by Any Means

On: BBC 2 North West (2)

Date: Sunday 14th September 2008 (13 minutes left)

Time: 20:00 to 21:00 (1 hour long)

The adventurer continues his most daring journey so far, putting his newly-learnt sailing skills to use and successfully crossing the tempestuous English Channel in a sailing dinghy. From Calais, Charley and the team navigate their way through France, across to Croatia, Serbia and Bulgaria, before pressing on through far western Asia from Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Iran. The expedition hinges on whether they can enter Iran and make it to Dubai in time to catch a container ship to Mumbai.
