Vor sechs Monaten hat Kommissar Chan Chun (Nicholas Tse) seine Verlobte verloren, die bei einem Überfall eines Geldtransporters durch eine von einem gewissen Tien Yeng-Seng (Jacky Wu) angeführten kriminellen Gruppe ums Leben kam. Natürlich sinnt der trauernde Mann auf Rache. Genauso wie der draufgängerische Kommissar Fong Yik-wei (Shawn Yue), der von den Ganoven auf peinliche Weise vorgeführt wurde und nun seinen guten Ruf wiederherstellen will. Der Dritte im Bunde der Jäger ist der junge Polizist Wai King-ho (Jaycee Chan), dessen älterer Bruder, der ihm immer als Vorbild galt, vor ein paar Jahren ohne ein Wort untertauchte und nun auch zu der berüchtigten Bande um Tien gehören soll.
