Verhaal





Het verhaal speelt zich af in Dor, een magisch koninkrijk waar ooit 


het zonlicht scheen, iedereen uitbundig lachte en de lekkerste soep 


ter wereld werd gemaakt. Door een verschrikkelijk ongeluk komt hier 


plots verandering in. De koninklijke familie is doodongelukkig en 


het land kleurt grijs, tot op een dag een moedige en romantische 


muis genaamd Despereaux Tilling ter wereld komt. De muizenwereld 


blijkt al snel te klein voor zijn ridderlijke ideedn en samen met 


zijn vriend Roscuro de rat, trekt hij op avontuur. Hij wordt 


verliefd op de menselijke prinses Pea en hij gaat op missie met zijn 


vriend om de prinses te redden van al haar problemen.
