This is the final installment of the in the H.E. Bates and A.E. Coppard stories in the dvd collection which one critic(http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/countrymatters.php) states "welcomes you to the English countryside, where the men are pigs, the women are shrews, and love means a tragic plot twist is waiting just around the corner". The review makes amusing reading about the quality of the sound, lighting, image sharpness etc (they were filmed in the early 1970's after all) but many will not agree with the comments about calibre of the stories.
