This glossy animated production reworked R L Stevenson's classic tale of pirates, Black Spots and treasure. The stars were animated animals. More importantly, the Big Twist this time was that Treasure Island itself was a more sinister, mysterious place - indeed, it was almost personified, behaving in various magical ways to thwart our villains or aide our heroes...





Series 2 continues where Series 1 left us hanging. They aren't the most complex plots, and since I have been unable to locate an official episode guide I've put a little one together that hopefully doesn’t spoil anything

Jim's determination to find his friends brings him (again) to the wrong place and very wrong person! Will he never learn that foxes can't be trusted and pirates even less? Although for once, Silver's slippery tongue comes in handy... temporarily.
