Trama

All'interno dei Grandi magazzini si intrecciano vari personaggi e storie: un attore in declino e ubriaco non trova i tempi giusti per girare una pubblicità; una guardia giurata poco attenta è presa in giro dai ladri; un addetto alle pulizie è scambiato per il figlio del padrone e finisce in un gioco più grande di lui; un giovane coatto deve trovare il modo di spendere un buono di 500.000 lire; due truffatori da poco usciti dal carcere vorrebbero tentare una truffa; padre e figlia sono degli artisti di strada sgraditi al Direttore; un commesso è follemente innamorato di Ornella Muti; un fattorino consegna a fatica la merce ordinata dai clienti; una cliente perde le lenti a contatto e si perde.
