Throughout history, the quest for power infected mankind. In the future..nothing much changes. The setting for this exciting,


funny and intriguing series is the Kingdom of Fir antic, where two royal houses are locked in combat to determine who will become


the future ruler of the Kingdom. To secure the throne, one of two must travel through the aeons of time to find the Firebird.


Whoever brings it back to Fir antic will rule from the throne of this mysterious country. The story starts in the present.... Here, in


the desolate office of the Ace Detective Agency, Detectives Paul Tuck and Tracy Headly are whiling away the time reading magazines,


or want of something better to do. Suddenly, a girl appears before them. From her strange dress the pair can just deduce that the girl


couldn't possibly be from their time. She begins to speak..."You are quite right. I am from another era. In time, you two will be married,


and I will be born from your bloodline many generations hence". The girl's name is Princess Sara of the Kingdom of Fir antic. Paul and


Tracy are amazed by the girl's telepathic powers, and even more amazed to be told that they are to be married. But there is more to come.


Princess Sara is looking for the Firebird with the use of a Time Tunnel. Paul and Tracy decide that it is their duty to protect their


descendent's future. They offer to help Sara on her quest for the Firebird, but Sara has no idea where it is to be found. The only clue she


has is that Princess Miranda and her party have come to this time as well. Sara telepathically discovers the whereabouts of their time machine,


and our heroes chase after Miranda, who possesses any and all information concerning the Firebird....

Giappone, 1981. In un condominio gestito dal signor Arsenio Magret vivono due ragazzini, Beppe Ieri e Tina Domani. I due ragazzi sono anche


i collaboratori di Magret, che sbarca il lunario con la sua attività di investigatore privato. Un giorno, un rumore udito nel solaio insospettisce


i ragazzi: la sorpresa è grande quando scoprono che a causarlo è stata l'apparizione di una macchina del tempo, e lo stupore aumenta quando


gli occupanti della macchina rivelano la loro identità. La ragazza che ne discende rivela agli sbalorditi Beppe e Tina di essere la Principessa


Domenica, erede al trono del regno di Calendar, di venire dall'anno 2981 e di essere una loro discendente, svelando così il loro futuro matrimonio.


Nel futuro infatti, dopo la morte del re di Calendar, il trono è stato usurpato dalla malvagia Lunedì, che a forza di complotti è riuscita a fare


incoronare re il suo fratellino, il principino Sabato.





La questione è resa complicata dal fatto che per legittimare l'ascesa al trono nel regno di Calendar è necessario avere accanto a sé il Cosmopavone,


l'animale sacro di Calendar, il quale però non vuole saperne di diventare l'animaletto di Sabato e fugge attraverso lo spazio e il tempo, trasformandosi


negli oggetti misteriosi e importanti della storia e della mitologia (ad esempio, la lampada di Aladino, la mela di Newton o il vaso di Pandora).





Quello che né i due ragazzi né Domenica sanno è che nello stesso condominio abitano i responsabili del fattaccio: nascosti sotto il falso nome


di «famiglia Settimana», nello scantinato del palazzo vivono Lunedì, Sabato e i loro goffi servitori Settembre e Ottobre. Essi sono in possesso


del Pavonputer, un elaboratore costruito appositamente per indicare gli spostamenti temporali del Cosmopavone e le sue trasformazioni.


Domenica è dotata di poteri paranormali con cui è in grado di recepire le informazioni rilasciate dal Pavonputer; dato che non è però in grado di


affrontare le missioni da sola, con questi stessi poteri incarica il suo antenato Beppe di riportare a casa il Cosmopavone, trasformando il ragazzino


nel supereroe Yattodetaman e rivelando a Beppe e Tina che la chiave e il lucchetto che essi possedevano fin da bambini sono in realtà due talismani


che se uniti sono in grado di evocare dal regno futuro di Calendar un potentissimo robot, l'Ipergenio King Star. Con i poteri di Yattodetaman e la


forza di King Star i due ragazzi si imbarcano nella missione, viaggiando nel vortice del tempo per cogliere sul fatto Lunedì e i suoi scagnozzi e affrontare


le bizzarre macchine da guerra progettate da Settembre.
