- Trama -

Al commissario Saracino viene rubata la macchina,e benche' irritato per questo non puo' interrompere il suo lavoro:riceve il cavalier Fiore che denuncia la moglie per adulterio,il ricattato Lancetti,e don Amilcare che gli consegna la refurtiva che ha ricevuto in confessione.Sara' proprio il sacerdote a fargli ritrovare l'auto rubata.

Questa volta al fianco di Totò vengono messi vecchi amici che hanno lavorato in passato con lui , ma nonostante il cast eccezionale , per un film comico , gli incassi al botteghino hanno un calo clamoroso .
