Auf der Suche nach seiner vermissten Schwester gelangt Clay (Jared Padalecki) in die Wälder von Camp Crystal Lake. Trotz aller Warnungen der Anwohner und der lokalen Polizeibehörden wollen er und Whitney (Amanda Righetti), Mike (Nick Mennell), Jenna (Danielle Panabaker) und Trent (Travis Van Winkle) sich in der verfallenen Ferienanlage genauer umsehen.
