Spin off from the successful BBC crime series "Z Cars" in which Detective Chief Superintendent Barlow and his now promoted second in command Detective Chief Inspector Watt are transferred to run a regional crime squad.



Synopsis: Detective Chief Superintendent Barlow is on his way for a well earned holiday leaving Detective Superintendant Johns in charge of the squad. Jones is suprised to discover that before leaving Barlow and Chief Inspector Watt have been running an undercover operation at a motorway extension where plant equipment is vanishing.
