Die britische Komödie erzählt die Geschichte von zwei Typen aus einem Vorort von London und ihrem Versuch, ins Filmgeschäft einzusteigen. Genervt von ihrem kunstbeflissenen Filmprofessor, machen sich Möchtegern-Produzent Joe (Tom Riley) uns sein talentierter jedoch neurotischer Freund und Regisseur Baggy (Tom Burke) auf dem Weg nach London, um ihr Drehbuch zu verkaufen, in das sie all ihre Hoffnungen gesteckt haben.
Die Türen bleiben ihnen verschlossen, bis sich der ebenfalls verzweifelte Produzent (Eddie Marsan) bereit erklärt, sie finanziell zu unterstützen, vorausgesetzt, sie engagieren Candy Fiveways, die erfolgreichste Pornodarstellerin aller Zeiten. Entgegen aller Wahrscheinlichkeit gelingt es ihnen, sie für ihren Film zu bekommen. Es dauert jedoch nicht lange, bis sich Probleme in den Weg stellen.
