Sludgy, blackened death metal with big riffs.
Astoria's Flaming Tusk wins the odd bird award here. I have no idea what to call this. You Fail Me-era Converge, but sludgier, proggier and with black metal rasps? It's messy, but melodic and strangely compelling. Try or die! ---Cosmo Lee, Decibel Magazine

Hard to classify, but there's elements of High on Fire and Mastodon, mixed up with more melodic passages. Also some Sludge sections and even some black metal-style sections, especially in the last track.
The title track is based on the story of Abigail Taylor, who died when she had her intestines sucked out by a swimming pool drain. Pretty metal. Catchy shit!
