Plot:











Dem Planeten Spaceballs geht allmählich die Luft aus. Präsident Skroob (Mel Brooks), der es


leid ist, nur noch Dosenluft zu atmen, verfällt auf einen teuflischen Plan, den


Nachbarplaneten Druidia um seinen Sauerstoff zu erpressen. Um dessen König Roland gefügig


zu machen, soll Lord Helmchen Prinzessin Vespa entführen. Doch da ist natürlich ein


strahlender Held vor: Der kosmische Cowboy Lone Starr und sein treuer Begleiter, der Möter


Waldi, bringen die Prinzessin zunächst auf einem Wüstenplaneten in Sicherheit. Dort weiht


der geheimnisvolle Yoghurt Lone Starr in das Geheimnis des Saftes ein, der übermenschliche


Kräfte verleiht. Die hat Lone Starr im Endkampf mit Lord Helmchen, der Westentaschenausgabe


des Star Wars-Oberschurken Darth Vader, auch bitter nötig. Denn schon macht sich ein


staubsaugerförmiges Raumschiff daran, Druidia die Atemluft abzusaugen...
