"Armchair Theatre" was a British television drama anthology series, which ran on the ITV network from 1956 until 1968 in its original form, and was intermittently resurrected at various points during the 1970s. It was produced initially by ABC Television, and in the 1970s by ABC's successor company Thames Television.





Synopsis: Emmy Award winning "Armchair Theatre". When her boss, Mr Hoffman discovers her fianace, Tom has been stealing from the office Janet Smith is blackmailed in to spending seven days and seven nights with him. With terror of things to come she turns up at his home afraid. 





Cast: Donald Pleasence (Ben Hoffman) - Judy Cornwall (Miss Janet Smith) - Derek Carpenter (Delivery Boy).
