Wally K Daly is the author of a wide range of radio plays - his earlier works are mainly comedies; later plays tend to be more serious. He has written for television, done a film for Warner Brothers (Nessie- an animated cartoon feature), written short stories, a Doctor Who book, lots of TV plays, some "Juliet Bravo" and "Casualty", 3 "Casualty" books, and two stage musicals.





Burglar's Bargains was first broadcast on 15th December 1979. The first of a trilogy which is followed by A Right Royla Rip Off in 1982 and The Bigger they are in 1985. However each play stands alone.





In this comedy a gang of crooks rob Harrod's. But they're not ordinary crooks - this is in the style of the "Carry On" films... With Peter Jones, Lockwood West, Bernard Bresslaw, Charles Hawtrey.
