Der Kopfgeldjaeger Beck (The Rock) ist der richtige Mann


fuer schwere Faelle, die zumeist in der Aufgabe bestehen,


Gelder fuer seinen Boss einzutreiben. Der Plan, endlich


auszusteigen und sein eigenes Restaurant aufzumachen, wird


ihm jedoch verwehrt, um einen letzten Auftrag zu erfuellen.


Er soll Travis (Seann William Scott), den Sohn seines Bosses


aus dem Amazonasgebiet abholen, der dort unten nach


Schaetzen sucht.


Das Aufstoebern ist kein Problem, nur will Travis nicht


unbedingt wieder zurueck, denn ein kostbares Artefakt ist zu


finden, den Schluessel zu einer Art Eldorado. Hinter dem ist


auch Travis' Boss Hatcher (Christopher Walken) her, der es


gar nicht gern sieht, wenn Travis sich mit dem Fund


verdruecken wuerde. Alsbald ist die Jagd auf die beiden


eroeffnet und im Amazonasdschungel herrscht dicke Luft,


damit die beiden heil aus der Sache wieder herauskommen...
