In this innovative blend of historical drama and original source material, director Justin Hardy re-imagines the story of this decisive year, not from the saddles of kings and conquerors, but through the eyes of the ordinary men who fought on their behalf.





To be honest, this is more battle reinactment than historical drama. If your thing is big hair and shouting, blood and extreme violence, then you're going to enjoy this. For character indentification in the heat of battle remember that: the Normans are the weasely looking ones with round helmets and chain mail; the Vikings are the big haired hairy arsed nordic types; and the English all have noseguards on their helmets and look like a bunch of hippies.
