Plot:
Antwone Fisher hat ein Problem. Sobald der schwarze Navy-Soldat von seinen Kollegen nur
ein bisschen gehänselt wird, rastet er aus und beginnt eine Schlägerei. Weil Strafen
und Degradierung nicht fruchten, wird er zu Sitzungen mit dem Armee-Psychologen
Dr. Davenport verpflichtet. Doch Antwone denkt zunächst gar nicht daran, sich diesem
zu öffnen oder ihm die Gründe für sein aggressives Verhalten mitzuteilen. Zu tief
sind die Verletzungen aus Kindheitstagen, die vornehmlich aus Prügel, Angst und
Missbrauch bestanden.
