Patrick Roy a débarqué à Montréal, mais ce n'était pas pour parler de hockey ou s'épancher sur les difficultés du Canadien. Le célèbre gardien de but est plutôt venu démontrer son appui indéfectible à son fils Jonathan, qui procédait au lancement officiel de son premier album What I've Become. 


Avouant ne rien connaître à la musique, Patrick Roy a toutefois conté avoir obtenu l'avis de deux connaisseurs: son propre père (qui a deux albums à son actif) et d'un certain impresario de renom.


«Je l'ai fait écouter à René Angelil et il a dit qu'il avait aimé ça», a-t-il confié. 


«J'ai amené mon père voir un spectacle de Jonathan. Il a adoré ça. Il m'a même dit: Je vois la même passion avec Jonathan sur scène qu'avec toi sur la patinoire», a également relaté Patrick Roy. 


L'album What I've Become du jeune auteur-compositeur et interprète compte 13 titres, tous en anglais. Jonathan Roy a déjà expliqué qu'il avait vécu plus de la moitié de sa vie au Colorado, où son père a terminé sa carrière, et qu'il lui était impossible d'écrire des chansons en français. 


Un album a découvrir, à aimer surement...
