sein Haus in eine High-Tech-Burg verwandelt hat. Zu seiner neuen


Erfindung zaehlt ein Geraet, mit dem man angeblich Dinge


verkleinern kann. Natuerlich wird er von vielen Menschen, vor


allem seinem Nachbarn Russell Thompson belaechelt.





Eines Tages jedoch werden die Szalinski-Kinder Amy und Nick, wie


auch die Thompson-Kids Ronald und Russell Jr. von der Maschine


tatsaechlich geschrumpft.





Bald finden sie sich jedoch im Garten wieder, einem Dschungel, wo


jeder Grashalm an die 10 Meter hoch zu sein scheint. Auch lauern


andere Gefahren, wie Riesenameisen auf die Kinder, die trotz


anfaenglicher Differenzen beginnen muessen zusammenzuhalten, um


zum Kilometer weit entfernten Haus zu gelangen, um dort Wayne zu


finden, der allein die Kinder vergroessern kann.
