Sinópsis: 1950. Una extraña infección producida por unos agresivos monos-rata de Sumatra que viven el la isla de la Calevera, provoca que las personas adquieran un apetito desmedido por la carne viva y una tendencia a no fallecer. Cuando la sobrepotectora madre del protagonista es infectada, este intenta seguir cuidándola como siempre, pese a que se come al perro de su novia, mata a una enfermera y extiende la infección. Finalmente, y gracias a su novia, comprenderá que tiene que enfrentarase al hecho de que conviene que la destruya.
