SINOPSIS 








Un adolescente (Michael Angarano), obsesionado con el cine de Hong Kong y los clásicos de kung-fu, hace un extraordinario descubrimiento en una pequeña casa de empeños del barrio chino. Descubre por casualidad el legendario báculo de un sabio guerrero chino, más conocido como el Rey Mono (Jet Li). Gracias a la reliquia, el joven retrocede en el tiempo hasta la antigua China, donde se une a un grupo de guerreros expertos en artes marciales que intentarán liberar al Rey Mono.
