Eliott die sprechende Gurke, Sedgewick, der Kürbis und George die Weintraube sind die Veggietales. Die drei fristen ihr Dasein in einer Piratenshow und träumen davon, mal ein echtes Abenteuer zu erleben. Da kommt ihnen der Hilferuf einer Prinzessin aus dem 17.Jahrhundert gerade recht: mit Hilfe eines magischen Apparates werden die drei verhinderten Helden auf das Schiff der Prinzessin befördert und geloben ihr zu helfen den Prinzen aus den Fängen eines skrupellosen Seeräubers zu befreien. Doch die Reise ist voller Gefahren und gestaltet sich weit schwieriger als gedacht.
