Sinopsis: Dragon Ball narra la historia de Goku, un excepcional niño que llegó a la Tierra en una cápsula durante una noche tormentosa. La primera serie narra sus vivencias por la Tierra, cómo un anciano le enseña artes marciales y las aventuras con sus compañeros Bulma y Krilin. En la serie Z Goku ya es mayor y tiene que defender la tierra de todos los que quieran dominarla, lo que le lleva a combatir incluso en otros planetas; tambien enseña a sus hijos Son Gohan y Goten para que defiendan la tierra, junto a nuevos amigos. En la serie GT Babidí, por error, le pide al dragón sagrado que convierta a Goku en un niño, y éste defendiendo a la tierra y salvando diversos momentos de peligro, tratará de conseguir las bolas de dragon que le permitan volver a su estado normal junto a su nieta Pan y a Trunks.
