Essen, 1944. Schwarzmarkthaendler Atze Schroeder
und sein Kumpel Samuel (Oliver K. Wnuk) hoffen
auf einen baldigen Einmarsch der Amerikaner,
damit der Krieg endet. Doch eine Verkettung
ungluecklicher Umstaende sorgt fuer eine
ueberstuerzte Flucht, der sich auch
Schauspielerin Maria (Yvonne Catterfeld)
anschliesst. Sie endet auf dem letzten
verfuegbaren deutschen U-Boot, der U-900, das von
dem Trio gekapert wird. Die Crew ist allerdings
auf Geheimmission.
