Bob Roberts' roots lie in match fishing, were he gained a reputation as a hard man to beat on any method or venue.

In this superbly entertaining film Bob employs the basic skills of close range waggler fishing to catch small fosh on maggots. He than changes venue and employs groundbait tactics to catch bream and tench at long range before turning his attention to carp.In the final two sequences Bob shows how the techiques learnt earlier can be fine-tune to catch small carp and then by stepping up the tackle used to catch carp into bouble figures.
In order to help other anglers better relate to the techiques shown, Bob insisted that this video was filmed on day ticket waters, available to any angler wishing to fish there.
