Het bergdorp Absurdistan ligt zo afgelegen dat eigenlijk
iedereen het is vergeten en geen land het meer heeft
geclaimd na het uiteenvallen van de Sovjet-Unie. Het
dorp kent zo haar problemen: de mannen zijn te lui om
de watervoorziening te repareren, dus de vrouwen onthouden
hen niet alleen van sex, maar scheiden het volledige dorp
in twee kampen met hun eigen guerilla-tactieken. Temelko
probeert wanhopig zelf de waterleiding te repareren aangezien
zijn vriendinnetje Aya heeft verteld dat haar ontmaagding
moet plaatsvinden onder een bepaalde sterrenstand,
die er bijna aankomt.
