Setup Instructions:



Note: the default letter for your USB device will be here represent with a "U" letter.

Note: Only for Windows Vista users, Please turn off the "user acount control" in order for this to work.



Follow the instructions exactly to install properly.



1.- Insert your USB device to  your computer.

2.- Copy From folder "USB_device_root_directory", all the files and folder to your USB's "Root directory" like "U:/".

3.- Eject your USB device with the windows' "safely remove hardward" function, NOW fisicaly remove your USB from PC.

4.- Insert your USB device in another PC (one without Jaws prior installed).

*.-  If it the first TIME you insert your USB to that non-jaws installed pc, you will have to install first the FSVideoIntercept-32bit.exe or if you run JAWS10.BAT it will tell you with voice that it is need to install first the FSVideoIntercept-32bit.exe. The installation of FS Video Interceptor will tooks like 2 minute and will ask when finished to reboot your PC.

5.- After you have rebooted your PC,  from your USB device root directory Run "JAWS10.BAT" if it is not automaticaly started.

6.- Well Done, now you can use your USB portable Jaws 10 for that endless 40 minutes, enjoy and leave a comment if you need assistance.



7.- I will suggest that you can install the "RealSpeak Solo voice", they are nice voices and you can also install other languages voices if you are not a English speaker.

The extra steps necessary is to download from http://www.freedomscientific.com/downloads/RealSpeak-Solo-Direct-Voices/RealSpeak-Solo-Direct-Downloads.asp

and run the executable file (follow the instruction given when start installation).

Please note, after you have installed the crack, JAWS will present itself as being the earlier 10.0.1139 version.

The crack works by changing a version string to make JAWS think it is still the earlier beta version. You are actually running the v.10.0.1142 release one though!



Also important: Do not use the Update feature in the JAWS About menu!! This will probably kill the crack.



I do this to help the Blind Community, as I know a few people who need this software but cannot afford this ridiculously expensive software! Like, what the heck? Adobe Photoshop CS4 is less than half the cost of this.
