"Ich bin so müde." Eigentlich will Clubbesitzer Ben (Jean-Claude Van Damme) das Rotlichtmilieu endlich hinter sich lassen. Doch dann wird seine Frau (Lisa King) von dem mächtigen chinesischen Mafia-Paten Sun Quan (Simon Yam) ermordet. Also steigt Ben noch mal in die Halbwelt von Los Angeles hinab - und verteilt dabei seine Kicks und KopfnüsseDer Kopf ist noch quadratischer geworden, die sonnenbankgebräunte Haut ledern wie ein alter Punchingball und der Blick leer wie der Kühlschrank eines Junggesellen. Jean-Claude Van Damme kokettiert hier mit dem Image des abgehalfterten Action-Heroen - doch als die Pflicht ruft, zieht er wieder mal mit dem Zartgefühl eines Türstehers los. Schließlich dient der plumpe Plot des Rache-Reißers lediglich dazu, möglichst schick Knochenbrüche und Einschusslöcher in Szene zu setzen. Erbärmlich.
