This album SIVA PACIFICA belongs definitely to the best MODERN music of the South Pacific. Even if you dislike hula or endless drums, this cd will get ya. A kinda extraordinary mix: Pacific Islander tribes meet Madonna, Depeche Mode and end 90s trance/dance. Not the ordinary beats you listened to before. But since seven years I can't get enough of it. I found it once in the pretty good equipped Oceania department of our local Australian lib. Probably there exist only a couple of thousands of copies worldwide, despite its release being done by VirginRec Australia  in 1999 and its own album site on the web. This great work has to be shared. If you really like the compilation, buy the album, it is worth it. I certainly would like to hear more of this stuff. It would be a pitty if this cd would get lost in time. 

It appears that the British producer Anthony Copping was busy on almost all main islands to get all the tracks together. Just read the booklet in the JPEGs for all the details.
