SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
**********************************************************************

OPERATING SYSTEMS:

Windows?2000 Professional/Server/Advanced Server with Service
  Pack 3 or later
Windows XP Home Edition/Professional/Tablet PC Editions
Windows Server 2003 Web/Standard/Enterprise/Datacenter Editions
Windows Vista (x86)

Note: This beta release of Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0 client
supports 32-bit operating systems. 64-bit operating systems will be
supported in the generally available production release.

HARDWARE:

400 MHz Intel Pentium III (1 GHz for Windows Vista)
Memory: 256 MB of RAM
Hard disk: 600 MB free space to run the client installation
Display: Super VGA (1,024x768) or higher-resolution video adapter
  and monitor
Internet Explorer 6.0 or later

MIGRATION REQUIREMENTS
**********************************************************************
Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0 will support migration of:

Symantec AntiVirus 10.x
Symantec Client Security 3.x
Symantec Sygate Protection Agent 5.1
  
Migration support for the Vista platform is not included in this
  beta version


**********************************************************************
KNOWN ISSUES
**********************************************************************

* After installing and rebooting the client, all Windows 2000 systems
  will prompt the user about the Teefer2 miniport driver.
  Click "Continue Anyway" to complete installation.

* When performing a migration installation some settings may revert
  to their defaults.

* A reboot is required after installing the client. This is required
  by firewall drivers.
  
* Windows firewall will not be re-enabled after uninstallation.

* When running a VPN on Windows Vista, the "Block UPnP" firewall rule
  should be disabled to allow network access.

* When running Vista and Internet Explorer 7.x, online help may not
  display properly.

* There is an intermittent Dr Watson Fatal Error that appears during
  installation on the Windows 2000 platform.

* The main user interface on Vista sometimes does not show Network
  Threat Protection. Restart will resolve this problem.

* The icons in the View Network Activity dialog box are initially
  not set to show the proper state of the firewall for those applications.
  This can be fixed by opening View Application List > Configuration, and
  then clicking OK
