Im Rahmen ueberdrehter Actionfilme ist Jumper erfreulich
unpraetentioes und erfrischend unterhaltsam. Ein junger
Mann namens David (Hayden Christensen) stellt fest, dass
er die Faehigkeit besitzt, sich an jeden Ort, den er sich
bildlich vorstellen kann, zu teleportieren (oder dorthin zu
\"springen\"). Nachdem er diese Faehigkeit zum Stehlen benutzt
hat und sich damit ein angenehmes Leben macht, steigt er
jenem Maedchen hinterher, das er schon in der Schule gut fand
(Rachel Bilson, O.C. California). Genau in dem Moment treten
ein weiterer \"Jumper\" (Jamie Bell, Billy Elliot) und eine
Gruppe fanatischer \"Jumper\"-Jaeger namens Paladine (angefuehrt
von einem weisshaarigen Samuel L. Jackson) in Davids
unbeschwertes Leben.
