Trama
Tratto dal romanzo di Greg Behrendt e Liz Tuccillo, il film racconta storie di vita quotidiana di alcuni personaggi di Baltimora, riflettendo sulla correttezza dei loro comportamenti.
Jennifer Connelly è la moglie insoddisfatta di Bradley Cooper; Kevin Connolly è un uomo che punta ad una donna, che purtroppo è l'amante di Cooper stesso.
Ginnifer Goodwin è una giovane donna ossessionata da Kevin Connolly che cerca di arrangiare degli incontri fortuiti con la stesso, in realtà solo per poter incontrare il suo amico, Justin Long, che la trascinerà in un gioco in stile My Fair Lady. Drew Barrymore, poi, interpreta una donna perennemente confusa dal corteggiamento, soprattutto in quest'epoca dove le persone evitano il contatto fisico per farsi mediare dalla tecnologia.
Le storie così risultano tra loro tutte collegate e incentrate su fraintendimenti ed equivoci tra i personaggi protagonisti
