This includes everything you need to get up and running the new map with better 


install info and the new ydg tool 1.2.16.14 along with easy activator for your map.

remember most important thing is to allways make a back up of your device before you change anything





Check the compatibilty chart first to make sure your device will run this map.





i find it better to backup my whole tom tom then format so theres nothing old left on the device


then use tomtom home to check if theres any updates avail which you let install untill it offers 


you no more updates.When you have done this disconnect your tt and restart it.





now run the ydgpatcher tool click on patch file and choose the ttsystem file and it will patch it and make a


backup calling it ttsystem.old,and you will get the congrats msg if all goes well.





now to add your map use the new easyactivator 5 tool.





Run the tool and click on find keygens and choose tt8_keygen.exe for any 8.xx maps


then click on browse for bif and point it to your tomtom device root dir and choose the ttgo.bif file.


This will add your device id into step 2.


Next choose step 3 and browse to the map dir you are going to use on your tomtom device and click on the


meta file in there then click Generate meta dct file which will create the dct file in the map dir then copy the


whole map dir onto the root of your tomtom device if its not allready on there.





I you get a error its becase the meta hasant been added to the txt file on the util as yet as these maps are so


new so use the suppied meta txt that came with this map.





Reboot your tomtom and have fun

To be offered the beta you must have in Tools, Tomtom Home Preferences and advanced tab now set for acceptance.

updated Albert's EasyActivator version 0.57.08 (now defaults to v8 keygen, but if u select a v7 map will kick over to v7 keygen,the button for the next step will only enable once you have completed the current step, this will force users to get each stage right before proceeding. (not that it's rocket science?). basic help added.





now activates map folder including contents, i.e. Radars
