Disaster KFW is a German death metal band with English lyrics.


Disaster KFW was founded in 1985 and for a while shared three members with Die Apokalyptischen Reiter. Reiter singer Fuchs left KFW to concentrate on Reiter, while former Reiter screamer and drummer Skeleton left Reiter to concentrate on KFW. Keyboarder Dr Pest still works with both bands.


Disaster KFW's sound is very similar to the early Reiter sound. So all fans of Reiter's older albums should check KFW out.


Despite the band's age, the first EP Därme Fressen was released as late as 2001. Since then two albums followed: Death Ritual in 2004 and Collateral Damage in 2006.
