Episode 11028 | Season 44 | 03/02/2009
Philip goes to EJ to find out why he backed off the fuels project and what the catch is. EJ claims there's no catch but does his best to instill fear in Philip. Later, Philip confides to Victor that he hopes all the sacrifices he's made are somehow worth it.
Sami and Lucas are reunited with their son, Will. Lucas confesses to Will that he was hospitalized due to alcohol poisoning. While Will and Lucas catch up, Chloe enters and Will accuses her of being the reason his dad almost died.
Meanwhile, Sami goes home with Johnny to get ready for Will's homecoming. Chloe drops off Allie, and they exchange words. EJ stops by to drop off Johnny's toy he left behind, and EJ and Sami immediately slip into their old, familiar routine. Sami is lulled into a false sense of security that EJ is a good dad and overall good guy, but in a private moment, he calls Stefano and menacingly says that Philip took the bait. Sami, meanwhile, calls Sister Theresa and tells her she's formulating a plan to bring Grace home. Later, Sami tells EJ she can tell he's having second thoughts about the wedding and pleads with him not to marry Nicole.
Nicole runs into Brady and tells her that EJ forbade her to have contact with him. Brady thinks EJ is controlling and that Nicole is scared. Nicole denies and admits she's insecure because Sami's back in town. Brady suggests that Nicole should take Sydney and get out of that house if she's not comfortable there. Nic assures him that things will be fine and gives him a friendly thank-you kiss on the cheek before she goes.
Chloe begs Maggie to keep her counsel about her affair with Daniel, and Maggie agrees. Little does Chloe know that Kate has learned the truth and is plotting revenge with Victor. Stefano joins Kate and Victor at the Brady pub and asks Kate on a date. She says she'll think about it.
