La segunda temporada de la serie se inicia con un hecho triste: la muerte de Charles, el marido de Nico Reilly (Kim Raver). Poco antes de morir, Charles había comprado en una galería de arte el desnudo de Nico fotografiado por Kirby (Robert Buckley) al principio de su relación, lo que levanta sus sospechas sobre si realmente conocía su aventura extramatrimonial.
