* Birthday Surprise:  Vinnies\'s cousin, Danny, is killed by a drug dealer and vinnie is screaming for vengance. Blinded by his devotion to family, Vinnie nearly blows his cover,until his field director, Frank McPike, intervenes. Discovering exactly who was behind the murder, Sonny decides to give Vinnie the best birthday present he can think of-revenge.





* One On One:  When various operations start to go wrong, Sonny casts suspitions on virtually everyone around him, including Vinnie who, for a time fears for his life. What is ultimately revealed is that someone else from outside has gotten close to the Steelgrave organization and threatens everything Vinnie has been working towards.





* Prodigel Son:  When Vinnie\'s mother is mugged and hospitalized, he goes against orders and reveals to her that he\'s a cop not a street punkas she\'s been led to believe.  In the meantime, he starts following members of the drug ring responsible for the mugging and is stunned to learn that the trail leads back to Sonny\'s organization.





* A Deal\'s a Deal:  Sonny refuses to allow an aspiring singer to get out of his contract so that he can undertake a major tour. To emphasize how much he looks down on disloyalty, he sends a couple of corrupt cops to teach the singer a lesson. These cops also witness Vinnie meeting with McPike and threaten to reveal to Sonny that Vinnie is actually a federal officer.
