Nun, was haben wir denn hier… einen neuen, frischen Film für Kinder - der auf einer sehr erfolgreichen Kinder- und Jugendbuchreihe basiert; mit guter Machart, Witzen und Gruselmomenten ausgestattet ? Das zumindest hatte ich erwartet; als ich mir dieses Machwerk auf DVD bestellt habe - ohne überhaupt einen einzigen Satz zum Inhalt gelesen zu haben. Das einzige was ich vom Film kannte, war das Cover. Also gehen wir auch hier frisch und so unvoreingenommen wie es eben geht ans Werk: Der Film handelt im Grunde - und das ist wohl nicht sonderlich spektakulär - vom ewigen Kampf zwischen Gut und Böse.
