* Create necessary registry settings by double clicking the "registry-settings.reg" file


* Create a shortcut for Counter Strike as follows:


  > Right click the hl.exe file and click Create Shortcut


  > Edit properties of the shortcut (right-click > Properties)


  > Add a space and the following words in the Target textbox at the end:


  > -nomaster -game cstrike


  > You should have something like: D:\Games\CS16\hl.exe -nomaster -game cstrike


  > Change icon if necessary


  > You can then copy/move the shortcut to Desktop or elsewhere


* Play the game by double clicking the shortcut


* Configure


  (1) Display settings


  (2) Player name


  (3) Favorite servers
