Dans le Japon contemporain, une guerre sanglante fait rage entre les élèves de sept lycées et académies de la région de Tokyo. Tous ces jeunes gens ont pour particularité d’être les dépositaires d’un pouvoir immense, conféré par des pierres sacrées, les magatamas, réceptacles des âmes de guerriers chinois ayant combattu pour l’unification de la Chine.
