Questa raccolta comprende una serie di mappe militari della guerra in Europa nel periodo 1939 - 1945. Sulle mappe sono indicate importanti di informazioni circa i movimenti delle truppe, la prima linea di unità, con nomi e Other informations.
Pur non essendo possibile dare merito ad un autore o a vari autori che non siano dei topografi, questa release è di sicuro interesse per chi studia questo momento della storia.
Le mappe sono abbastanza grandi e con una buona risoluzione.
Ci sono all\'interno sia mappe generali che mappe di teatro operazioni.
Queste mappe sono state declassificate, possono essere utilizzate liberamente all\'interno di pubblicazioni o ricerche.
La risoluzione di quasi tutte le mappe è di 1265 x 956.
Ho inserito questa release perchè non ho visto nulla di simile tra il materiale presente nel nostro villaggio, a suo tempo, per delle ricerche, ho impiegato diverse risorse per reperire questo tipo di materiale che pur essendo disponibile in moltissimi testi stampati lo è di meno in formato elettronico.
Dovrebbero essere di sicuro interesse per chi vuol approfondire la propria conoscenza sulla seconda guerra mondiale.
Le mappe sono di buona risoluzione anche se non raggiungono i 320dpi necessari per l\'utilizzo in stampa.
