Well, since we did this as four serial episodes for our RE series, this being by far the most popular of the various RE games (barely beating the later RECV), then why not a proper movie?  Why not!

This is a fanedited movie based on RESIDENT EVIL 2, the most popular videogame in the RE franchise and the direct prequel to the DEGENERATION feature film.  This tells the backstory of Claire Redfield and Leon Kennedy, how they met in the middle of the T-virus outbreak in Raccoon City, and how they survived to wind up in the events depicted in DEGENERATION several years later.  RE2 is widely considered to have the best all-time gameplay and the second-best plot (RECV wins by a nose here) in the entire history of the franchise.  Which means if you've been living under a rock the past 10 years and don't know the story yet, you're in for a real treat.





This was based on DarkKefka's original fanedit, using a mixture of footage taken primarily from the online video archives of HCloudXIII and lucianoRX, with a few bits here and there from other sources.  It mixes and matches all four possible playing scenarios (Leon A/Claire B, Claire A/Leon B) in order to provide the most dramatic story possible.  It also concludes with a special epilogue from the WESKER'S REPORT special that ties in directly to RE5.  Video quality suffers a bit due to the mixed sources, but you do get the full and complete story from start to finish.  We hope you enjoy it, and we also hope you take the time to thank the original faneditors who made our effort possible.
